Ben Carter

Ben Carter is a certified behaviorist and dog trainer with 13 years of experience working with and caring for pets.

Ben has loved animals since childhood and they have always been an important part of his life. He has been involved in the care of pets for many years and in many different capacities. During his five years as a kennel manager at Best Friends Pet Resort, he decided to learn more about dog training and began to learn from several trainers.

In 2002, Ben decided it was time to deepen his training knowledge, so he attended Triple Crown Academy in Austin, Texas. He graduated from an intensive program where he studied many methods of dog training and behavioral science.

In 2008, Ben started receiving a lot of requests from his clients for pet sitting and dog walking services. Since his clients knew he already had a natural rapport with their dogs and cats, he expanded his services to include pet sitting and dog walking.

As a Kennel Manager at Best Friends Pet Resort, and at Triple Crown Academy, Ben trained in animal first aid, CPR, and how to safely administer pet medications, including insulin and saline solutions.

Cheryl Carter

Cheryl Carter spent many happy years of her childhood in the company of dogs, cats, hamsters, mice, guinea pigs, birds, and fish.

Cheryl has worked in a Veterinarian Clinic, and has also worked for Best Friends Pet Resort where she received training about dog behavior and how to safely run a dog play group. She has many years experience as a pet sitter.
