Nancy Block and Ingrid Gunn-Otero have a combined time of 45 years experience working in the Entertainment Industry. They had worked together for over ten years in entertainment marketing and have been friends for over 17 years. Nancy made the "life change" jump to animals when the hours and politics of working in the Entertainment Industry were taking their toll. She turned to her passion, animals, and launched Sugar Land Pet Nanny. "I had used a pet sitter while I was working 10-14 hour days and realized how rewarding it would be to help make pet ownership easier" she says. She quickly got her business up and running. The partnership with Sugar Land Pet Nanny started when Nancy called Ingrid one day when an abandoned dog in need of care, followed her home. Both made it their mission to find this dog a home, especially after being told by Animal Control that the animal would most likely be put down. It took a few months but they did it and now "Lulu" has her own family with 3 kids and a backyard. They talked about partnering in the pet sitting business when they realized they were kindred spirits when it came to the well being of all animals. The company mission: keeping animals happy in the comfort of their own home. If it’s daily potty breaks, walks, taking care of animals that owners don’t want to board while they are on vacation or basic obedience dog training, they offer everything a pet owner would need to help keep their animals safe and happy. Sugar Land Pet Nanny has been serving animals and their owners in Ft. Bend County since 2007.
